Controls a wide range of fungal diseases on various crops
Amistar is a new and advanced technique in plant disease control, extracted from nature to provide effective protection for various crops. It is characterized by its ability to treat a wide spectrum of fungal diseases with a single application, working efficiently on the four main groups of fungi. Amistar's mechanism of action involves inhibiting the fungal respiration process and stopping energy production in mitochondria, leading to breaking the resistance of fungi to other pesticides. Amistar combats a wide range of diseases such as powdery and downy mildew, late and early blight, botrytis, alternaria, leaf spots, and rust. Its main benefits include increasing plant greening, improving production and fruit quality, and providing long-lasting protection for plants, including protecting potato tubers from soil diseases. Amistar is distinguished by its ability to be gradually absorbed from leaves and translocated through the xylem, with a penetrative capacity allowing it to move between the upper and lower surfaces of leaves. These characteristics enhance plant growth, increase leaf greening, improve nutrient translocation, maintain water within the plant, and increase the efficiency of photosynthesis, ultimately leading to enhanced plant resistance to diseases and harsh environmental conditions.
| Crop | Disease/Pest | Treatment dose per dunum (cm³) | Solution quantity (L/dunum) | Last spray before harvest (days) | Notes |
| Citrus | Late blight | 125 | 400-500 | Two sprays only and not after end of May | - |
| Onion (1) | Downy mildew and stemphylium leaf blight | 125 | 50-75 | 10 | Treatment against downy mildew, stemphylium, and purple blotch reduces onion leaf blight infection |
| Cucumber | Downy and powdery mildew | 125 | 200-250 | 7 | - |
| Tomato (1) | Powdery mildew, cladosporium | 125 | 75-100 | 10 | Treatment against late blight reduces early blight infection |
| Pepper (1) | Powdery mildew | 125 | 50-150 | 10 | - |
| Eggplant (1) | Powdery mildew | 125 | 50-150 | 10 | - |
| Potato (1) | Late blight, alternaria | 125 | 50-80 | 10 | - |
| Carrot | Late blight, powdery mildew | 62.5-125 (2) 62.5 | 50-80 | 10 | - |
| Chickpeas | Ascochyta | 125 | 75-50 | 60 | - |
| Garlic (1) | Stemphylium | 125-188 (2) 125 | 50-75 | 10 | Stemphylium: 125 cm³/dunum before disease appearance, 188 cm³/dunum after first disease appearance |
(1) Vegetables: The period between spraying and harvest should be 7-14 days depending on weather conditions. The safety period should not exceed 10 days for open fields and 7 days for greenhouses. Spraying only twice, either before disease appearance or in early stages of disease development.
